Maintenance Guidelines
Exterior Home Maintenance Guidelines
The Guideline is established in order to give residents additional information for compliance with Article V, Section 5.1 of the Winghaven Covenants pertaining to Maintenance of Units (see: https://www.wroa.info/doc/Declaration.pdf for more detail on Article V, Section 5.1).
Painting: It is the responsibility of the Homeowner to keep their home up to Community Standards. This means painting of the exterior of the Unit, especially the eaves along the edge of the roof. If the paint along this section of the home is peeling, flaking or other deterioration the homeowner must repair. Failure to repair areas that are in need of painting shall result in a notice of non-compliance from the WROA and subsequent fines to the homeowner, until the area in need of repair has been repainted.
Mold: It is the responsibility of the Homeowner to remove all indications of mold or other fungi that may accumulate on the exterior of the siding of their home. Any fungi or dirt that may accumulate can be removed by power washing or hand cleaning. Failure to remove mold or other fungi from the exterior of the home shall result in a notice of non-compliance from the WROA and subsequent fines to the homeowner, until the fungi has been removed.
